In the GameCube version of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Big's cameos were removed.In the Battle version some effects were changed/added.In the Battle version in the level Crazy Gadget there are Red X's, but in the Dreamcast verion the X's are green.In the Battle version there are some new features. In the Battle version you have all of the characters without having to get all the emblems. Knuckles and Rouge's mode is a treasure hunt mode where they both must find three pieces of an object or three objects.
